Glorious Mysteries - Petition

Opening Prayers

The Sign of the Cross

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.

Hail Mary

Hail Mary, full of Grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death, Amen.

The Petition Prayer

Hail Queen of the Most Holy Rosary. My Mother Mary, Hail!  At thy feet I humbly kneel to offer thee a Crown of Roses. Full-blown white roses, tinged with red of the passion, to remind thee of the glories, fruits, and sufferings of thy Son and thee - each rose recalling to thee a holy mystery; each ten bound together with my petition for a particular grace.

O Holy Queen, dispenser of God's graces and Mother of all who invoke thee! Thou canst not look upon my gift and fail to see its binding.  As thou receive my gift, so wilt thou receive my petition. From thy bounty thou wilt give me the favor I so earnestly and trustingly seek.

I despair of nothing that I ask of thee.  Show thyself my Mother!

The Apostles Creed

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried; He descended into hell; on the third day He arose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from there He will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of Saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.

Our Father

Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

(3) Hail Mary

Glory Be

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

The Fourth Glorious Mystery - The Assumption of Our Blessed Mother Into Heaven

O Glorious Mother Mary,

meditating on the Mystery of Thy Assumption into Heaven, when, consumed with the desire to be united with thy divine Son in heaven, thy soul departed from thy body and united itself to Him, Who, out of the excessive love He bore for thee, His Mother, whose virginal body was His first tabernacle, took that body into heaven and there, amidst the acclaims of the angels and saints, re-infused into it thy soul.

I humbly pray -

Our Father

Every Hail Mary you say is a delicate rose to our Holy Mother!

meditating on the Mystery of Thy Coronation in Heaven, when, upon being taken up to heaven after thy death, thou wert triply crowned as the August Queen of Heaven by God the Father as His beloved Daughter, by God the Son as His dearest Mother, and by God the Holy Ghost as His chaste Spouse. The most perfect adorer of the Blessed Trinity, pleading our cause as our most powerful and merciful Mother, through thee,

Spiritual Communion

My Jesus, really present in the most Holy Sacrament of the Altar, since I cannot now receive Thee under the sacramental veil, I beseech Thee, with a heart full of love and longing, to come spiritually into my soul through the Immaculate heart of Thy most Holy Mother, and abide with me forever; Thou in me, and I in Thee in time and in eternity, in Mary.

Prayer in Petition

Sweet Mother Mary, I offer thee this Spiritual Communion to bind my bouquets in a wreath to place upon thy brow.  O my Mother, look with favor upon my gift, and in thy love obtain for me (specify request).

Hail Mary

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Closing Prayers

O God! Whose only-begotten Son, by His life, death, and resurrection, has purchased for us the reward of eternal life; grant, we beseech Thee, that, meditating upon these mysteries of the Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we may imitate what they contain and obtain what they promise.  Through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.

May the divine assistance remain always with us. Amen. And may the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen

Holy Virgin, with the loving Child, thy blessing give to us this (day/night).

Hail, Holy Queen

Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, our life, our sweetness, and our hope. To Thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve. To Thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn then, most gracious advocate, Thine eyes of mercy towards us. And after this our exile, show unto us the blessed Fruit of Thy womb, Jesus. Oh clement, Oh loving, Oh sweet Virgin Mary.

Pray for us, Oh Holy Mother of God.

That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

Memorare

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me.  Amen.

Prayer to St. Michael, the Archangel

St. Michael, the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits, who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

The Sign of the Cross
